Shelby McCraley has been writing all types of genres since she was in elementary school, but paranormal, contemporary fantasy, and urban fantasy books hold a special place in her heart. Witches, werewolves, vampires, and every creature in between bring her tons of joy. It only made sense that her debut contemporary fantasy series, The Captrix Chronicles has good and evil witches in it. 

 

If Shelby isn’t writing fiction, she loves writing nonfiction essays that deal with loneliness and nostalgia. She also runs a blog for writers and readers called The Writing Addict and shares what it's like to be an indie author on her Instagram page.

 

When she isn’t writing, blogging, or streaming, Shelby loves spending time with her rescue dogs, Kayla and Tilly, and her husband Shawn.
